Accessibility statement

Last updated: September 16, 2026 Last audited: No formal audit performed yet — see "Known gaps" below.
This statement is honest about what has and has not yet been verified. A formal audit will be completed before launch.

Summary in plain language

  • We're building this website (and the app) to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
  • Every page here uses real headings, works with a keyboard alone, and shows a visible focus outline.
  • We haven't had a formal audit yet — this page will be updated once one happens.
  • If something doesn't work for you, tell us — see "Contact" below.

Conformance target

yodelope.com is built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We aim for at minimum the same contrast ratios used throughout the app itself: text at 4.5:1 or better, and UI components at 3:1 or better.

What this site does

  • Semantic HTML landmarks (nav, main, footer) and a real heading outline on every page.
  • A "skip to content" link on every page, visible on keyboard focus.
  • Full keyboard navigation — nothing on this site requires a mouse or touch input.
  • Visible focus outlines on every interactive element; focus is never suppressed.
  • Alt text on every meaningful image; decorative graphics are marked so screen readers skip them.
  • A prefers-reduced-motion variant for the hero pitch-lane animation and any other motion on the site.
  • Legal pages readable without JavaScript and formatted to print cleanly.
  • No content that relies on color alone to convey meaning.

Known gaps

A formal WCAG 2.2 AA audit has not yet been performed. This site was built to WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines; a full audit including screen-reader testing will be completed before launch and its findings published here.

The app

The Yodelope app follows its own accessibility requirements documented in the product specification — minimum tap targets, redundant (non-color) pitch feedback, deuteranopia/protanopia-safe color choices, and more. This statement covers the website; the app's own accessibility posture is tracked separately in its engineering documentation.

Contact

If you use assistive technology and something on this site doesn't work, tell us: contact@yodelope.com. We'll treat it as a priority, not a queue item.
